Frank has appeared on many TV talk shows, including The Dinah Shore Show, The Merv Griffin Show and The Tonight Show.

Frank did sound effects in a Peter Gabriel music video in 1993.

Frank can be heard in The Living Seas and other attractions at Walt Disney World's EPCOT. He also did the animal voice effects including "Dumbo" in Disney's Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Frank has shared two roles with Leonard Nimoy. When the third season of Transformers came around, Frank took the role (Galvatron) that Nimoy had in the film version. And in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Frank provided the 'screams' of Nimoy's most famous character, Mr Spock. Clay Harryman adds:   "Leonard and Frank were both in PageMaster. Although they did not share roles, they worked side-by-side. Frank (as Horror) and Leonard (as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde) were co-stars together."

Frank has provided the voice for 8 of the original 14 Decepticons in the The Transformers cartoon: Megatron, Soundwave, Skywarp, Lazerbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, and Buzzsaw. He voiced two of the original Autobots as well: Trailbreaker and Mirage, as well as one of the Dinobots (Sludge) that also appeared in the first season.

He has done every voicing of Freddy "Fred" Jones for the Scooby-Doo series with the sole exception of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. Even in parodies and cameos on different TV shows, he has always done his voice.

In Steven Spielberg Presents... Tiny Toon Adventures, he voiced Furrball, Gogo Dodo, Calamity Coyote, Little Beeper, Byron Basset, Uncle Stinky Pig, Henry Bear and Ralph the Guard, who later appeared in Animaniacs, where Frank not only voiced Ralph, but also voiced Thaddeus Plotz, Buttons, Runt, Flavio Hippo and Chicken Boo.
